Benefits of Cerec 3D over Conventional Treatment

            • No messy impressions
            • No temporary dressing / crown
            • No second visit
            • No second local anaesthetic

In less than 90 minutes from the time you arrive, you are on your way with everything completed.

THE RESULTS ARE FANTASTIC!

Why not choose a CEREC inlay the next time you want a filling replaced?

  • No need to show any more nasty blacked amalgam fillings.
  • Better wear resistance than directly placed tooth coloured fillings. Cerec3D ceramic has wear characteristics similar to tooth enamel, so it is kind to opposing teeth and lasts longer.
  • Strengthens your tooth to close to its original strength, due to the incredibly strong bond.
  • No mercury released.
  • Good investment. 95% last more than 10 years. This is significantly longer than other tooth coloured restorations.

Cerec 3D Inlays from £395.00
Cerec 3D Crowns from £415.00

CEREC technology started in 2D. The evolution to 3D has only been possible since computers have developed in recent years to be able to model in real time 3D. The picture below shows the four stages of development in CEREC technology from the very first experimental model (far left) to the latest in surgery systems (far right). The first three systems incorporated the milling unit with the computer. The milling unit is now a separate piece of kit connected to the main PC via a wireless network. This produces a much neater unit in surgery.
