I qualified in Manchester some 22 yrs ago, having won the Dentsply hygienist best practical exam. I have worked both in the hospital environment as well as in private practice.
After qualifying I held a part time position in researching electric toothbrushes with one of the leading companies.
I am passionate about my job, and nothing phases me. I love to treat the nervous patient and help them to conquer their fear of visiting the dentist.
I spend many extra curricula hours on keeping up to date with all new information.
I am an advisor for an indemnity organisation on an ad hoc basis and have been for at least 7 yrs. This is a very interesting and fulfilling role. Before joining the James Hull Group I worked for 16 yrs (part time) in the same private practice. This in itself shows commitment and dedication. I have many interests, which include singing, and I perform a couple of times a year at the home of the Halle Orchestra.
I swim for pleasure, listening to my mp3 under the water!
I have two wonderful children,(most of the time!) who somehow manage to rule the house, but I still have to do the cooking! (another interest of mine)
Since joining the James Hull Group now well over a year ago,I must say it has been a pleasure to work with the team, together with meeting and getting to know the patients.
I hope to help grow the practice further as well as keep all our existing patients highly motivated with their oral hygiene.
